#Ming Jiang Zhu 925 Violin

This is the finest violin from one of our most cherished violin workshops, the Noble Heart Workshop. These violins produce an extraordinary sound that surpasses violins priced at least twice their value. The craftsmanship of this violin is the result of the expertise of Ming Jiang Zhu’s top luthiers at the Noble Heart Workshop. These luthiers have dedicated at least a decade to this esteemed institution. They have meticulously selected the finest woods from their batch of imported premium European woods. The top is crafted from the finest spruce sourced from Italy, while the sides and back are made from Bosnian Maple. The availability of these raw materials is extremely limited, resulting in an average monthly production of only one piece. The cost of the wood used for the top is approximately ten times higher than that used for the Ming-Jiang Zhu 909 violin. Each violin is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its veracity. Each violin undergo Fiddlershop’s renowned setup process, with any necessary adjustments made at our workshop prior to shipment. Each violin is housed in a high-quality oblong violin case. Specifications Body: Top from finest selected Italian Spruce, beautifully flamed Maple back & sides from Bosnia Pattern: Guarneri or Stradivari Varnish: Oil varnish Fittings: Purple Sandalwood Bridge: Professional Level from Aubert Mirecourt Strings: Most commonly set up with Thomastik Peter Infeld, Evah Pirazzi, or Thomastik Vision. For any string preference, please add a comment to your order. About the Maker This violin, crafted in the esteemed workshop of Ming Jiang Zhu in Guangzhou, China, is a testament to the masterful art of violin making. Ming Jiang Zhu, a revered modern violin maker, passed away in 2014 but left behind a legacy of excellence. Recognized for their exceptional skills, Zhu received numerous honorary medals from the Violin Society of America (VSA). Today, the workshop continues to be guided by Ming Jiang Zhu’s devoted student and brother-in-law, Wei Xian Zhu, who has been instrumental in preserving and expanding the workshop’s legacy for over three decades.
