Ming Jiang Zhu 907 Violin

The Ming-Jiang Zhu 907 model violin is made with beautiful tonewoods and projects a full and powerful tone. Even though the violins from the Noble Heart Workshop may look similar, one of the main differences between models is the quality and orgin of the wood. The wood for the top is made from carefully selected European spruce with fine grain. The wood for the two-piece maple back comes from the south of China and is selected for its vibrant and bold flame. The ribs and scroll are similar to the back. Each instrument is beautifully oil varnished and the color is a red-brown on a yellow ground finish. They are attractively antiqued to appear like an old, expensive instrument. This violin is hand made in the Ming Jiang Zhu Workshop, but is set up and tested by our professional luthiers in our Florida workshop to make sure that it sounds the best it can, and plays easily.

This is the finest violin from one of our most cherished violin workshops, the Noble Heart Workshop. These violins produce an extraordinary sound that surpasses violins priced at least twice their value. The craftsmanship of this violin is the result of the expertise of Ming Jiang Zhu’s top luthiers at the Noble Heart Workshop. These luthiers have dedicated at least a decade to this esteemed institution. They have meticulously selected the finest woods from their batch of imported premium European woods. The top is crafted from the finest spruce sourced from Italy, while the sides and back are made from Bosnian Maple. The availability of these raw materials is extremely limited, resulting in an average monthly production of only one piece. The cost of the wood used for the top is approximately ten times higher than that used for the Ming-Jiang Zhu 909 violin. Each violin is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its veracity. Each violin undergo Fiddlershop’s renowned setup process, with any necessary adjustments made at our workshop prior to shipment. Each violin is housed in a high-quality oblong violin case. The Ming Jiang Zhu 903 violins are made at the Noble Heart workshop in Guangzhou China. This world class workshop has won many Violin Society of America awards. These violins are very powerful, clear, and generally have a very dark tone. Every violin is carved from beautifully flamed Asian maple for the back and sides, and a spruce top with a beautiful antique oil finish. Holstein Workshop by Ming Jiang Zhu Violin

The Holstein Workshop by Ming Jiang Zhu Violin is custom made specifically for us by the Ming-Jiang Zhu workshop (Nobel Heart Workshop). It's developed from the Model 909 (Model AAA), but has a higher quality varnish that you normally only see on Ming Jiang Zhu's bench instruments ($10k+). We like to call this violin a MJZ 909 on steroids. The improved varnish brings this violin to a whole new level! Just like a regular Ming-Jiang Zhu 909, this violin is made by Senior Master Luthiers at the Ming Jiang Zhu workshop and comes with an authentic certificate. The setup of this violin is further done by our Master Luthier in our Florida workshop. Boxwood fittings with Guarneri model chinrest Professional Despiau or Aubert bridge. Most commonly, this violin is set up with Thomastik Peter Infeld strings, but it might vary depending on the characteristics of each individual instrument.
